CLEAR-FA to Support the Development of a National Evaluation Policy in Gabon

CLEAR-FA has reached an agreement with the Government of Gabon, UNICEF, and UNDP, to support the implementation of a MESA, to support the development of a national evaluation policy, a national capacity building plan, as well as advocacy activities in the country. To launch this agenda, CLEAR-FA and the Government of Gabon convened stakeholders at the 6th Edition of the National Evaluation Day on May 30th.  

During the event, the National Commission for the Development of the National Evaluation Policy was put in place. The Prime Minister will provide political leadership and technical supervision for the mandate. CLEAR-FA presented the implementation plan of the mandate including the methodology of the Monitoring and Evaluation Systems Analysis (MESA).   

This effort is jointly funded by CLEAR-FA and UNICEF Gabon under a partnership agreement signed in December 2021.
