This will be a panel discussion and networking event where co-organizers will share with guests recent collaborations for the promotion of the evaluation culture in Ethiopia. It will be the occasion for planting the seed for the establishment of an evaluation alliance, open to all evaluation stakeholders interested to get together to promote an evaluation culture in the country.
The event will be hybrid and open to participants from outside Ethiopia as well, in the spirit of sharing Ethiopian experience and learn from other countries.

Tirumar Abate Sate Minister/Advisor to the Minister of Planning and Development (MoPD), Ethiopia Mrs.Tirumar Abate is currently State Minister in Ministry of Planning and Development of Ethiopia in the division of Monitoring and Evaluation. She Worked in different leadership position more than ten years in different government institutions. She was also an economics teacher at Preparatory School. Her educational background is MA in Leadership and Good governance and BA degree in Business Management.
Seifu Tadesse President Ethiopia Evaluation Association (EEvA) Mr. Seifu Tadesse is international research and M&E experts with more than 15 years’ experience in Africa. He worked as Research Technical Managers, Research Team Leader, Principal Investigator (PI), and Qualitative and Quantitative researcher. He has concrete professional experience evaluation. He involved in the research and evaluations funded by World Bank, DFID, USAID, EU, Irish Aid, Canada CIDA. Also worked with WFP, UNICEF, INGO, and Government organizations in Ethiopia and other African Countries such as Zambia, Cameroon, Mali, and Lesotho. Seifu holds Master in Monitoring and Evaluation, Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Development Studies, and a Bachelor of Art in Business Management.
Kaleab Kebede Haile Researcher at Policy Studies Institute (PSI), Ethiopia A senior researcher at PSI with more than 10 years of progressive experience in policy-oriented research and evaluation emphasizing on sustainable, equitable and inclusive development through mitigating economic, sociopolitical, and natural shocks that collapse individuals, households and communities in poverty and inequality traps. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Development Economics.
Seblewengel Tesfaye Evaluation officer, WFP Ethiopia Seblewengel has a decade of experience in development and humanitarian fields as evaluation manger and practitioner. Before joining WFP country office in Ethiopia, she served in UNICEF, Wageningen University affiliated program (BENEFIT Partnership) and British Council (Civil Society Program) in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation. She holds MSc in Rural Development.
Valentina Prosperi Evaluation/Evidence Manager, UNICEF Ethiopia Evaluation manager and practitioner with over 15 years of experience, mostly in Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining the UNICEF country office in Ethiopia, I served in the same organization in the Middle East and North Africa Regional Office (MENARO) and in DR Congo. I also worked for other UN agencies, NGOs, donors and the private sector as evaluator. I hold a PhD and a MSc in Development Economics.

I hold a MA degree in business administration and BA degree in development management.
