- In partnership with: Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE)
About the Event
We propose a 90-minute online moderated panel discussion to share lessons and encourage critical reflections on designing and conducting evaluations to highlight and inspire actions to transform gender inequalities and injustices in our social, economic, and political sectors. The panel moderator will guide panelists in presenting findings of their recent studies on indigenous evaluation practices and the wisdom in African proverbs and taboos to share insights and lessons about evaluation practices for redressing gender injustices and human rights violations. Participants will be invited to ask questions and contribute to the discussions. We hope to encourage participants to imagine effective ways to transform gender inequalities through gender-sensitive and responsive evaluations.
