About the Event
The objective of the event is to share, with a wide range of stakeholders, IED’s evaluation knowledge on Uzbekistan. The IED seminar will take a forward-looking view on what the challenges were and the road ahead for Uzbekistan. The discussion will focus on the role of culture, context, and collaboration in achieving results. The event will be anchored to a synthesis note on Uzbekistan which draws learnings, based on IED’s major evaluations and project completion reports from 2019-2023.
The event will start with a short context setting presentation and will be moderated by DG IED Emmanuel Jimenez. Panelists will include ADB’s Uzbekistan Country Director, representatives from the government, and donors. The event will contribute to delivery of timely, relevant evaluation evidence to strengthen ADB’s development effectiveness.
