Use of evidence in building back better education systems
Panel Discussion
About the Event
Panelists will discuss new advances in the measurement of teacher and classroom practices and shed light on development of tools to measure more well-rounded student outcomes than simply test scores. They will also discuss the use of innovation in evaluation during emergencies in light of her experience of implementing and evaluating a study completely online during peak COVID days. The experts will shed light upon the use of technology to measure student learning and teacher take-up of a post-COVID remedial program to help students catch up to their grade levels and thus build back better broken, budget-constrained public education systems.
