The lecture will introduce participants with practical knowledge of evaluation methods and techniques for conducting empirical research. Each method will be explained with the help of well-designed research studies that have the potential to have direct policy implications, especially in Pakistan. The lecture is intended to equip participants with the necessary knowledge to effectively design and conduct program evaluations.

Maryiam Haroon Assistant Professor and Research Fellow based at the Centre for Research in Economics and Business at the Lahore School of Economics Her recent work involves development of Randomzied Control Trials understanding the information and search market failures for casual day labourers and easing some of these constraint by varying different aspects of the hiring process to better understand the market.
