As part of a global effort, EvalYouth Global Network and its regional chapters are preparing a series of Networking events in which experienced evaluators will be interviewed by Young and Emerging Evaluators to share the diverse trajectories of professionals who are dedicated to evaluation in the region.

Evaluation is a profession that is not widely offered in universities, evaluators become such in different ways. There has been interest from those starting their career in the field of evaluation in knowing the various paths in which professionals have arrived at the evaluation field and how they have developed their careers in this profession.

The foregoing in the understanding that the multidisciplinary, multisectoral and multilevel nature of evaluation practice gives it a complexity and richness that constitutes a fertile field for analysis, learning and inspiration for many.

In this scenario, several virtual regional events will be implemented in which reflections on the trajectory of a selection of 3 or 4 evaluators with recognized trajectories will be shared, the session interviewers are Young and Emerging Evaluators who will inquire on various aspects related to career development that can be inspiring for the audience.

In this space, reflections on the career trajectory of recognized evaluators and YEEs will be shared, with the goal to seek to generate synergies and promote intergenerational work strategies.

Additionally, this interview and exchange space between senior and junior evaluators will be implemented in other regions to stimulate a global conversation.

Bradlie Nabours Board member Bradlie Nabours is a perinatal health program evaluator at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Bradlie holds a masters degree in public health and a graduate certificate in maternal and child health. Bradie is a Young and Emerging Evaluator from North America.
Cassandra Backman Board member Cassandra earned a Professional Science Masters focused in education, evaluation, and not-for-profits from Colorado State University. Currently, Cassandra works as an Evaluator and Research Analyst at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
Roneé Wilson, PhD Assistant Professor She is a Reproductive and Perinatal Epidemiologist by training and her community-engaged work has focused on understanding and evaluating programming designed to address the persistent inequities that impact African American communities.
Lori Wingate Executive Director She has led a range of evaluation projects in STEM education, public health, and higher education. From 2008-20, Dr. Wingate was the principal investigator (PI) for EvaluATE, and is now a co-PI on that project.
Hubert Paulmer Senior Associate He has more than 25 years of experience in planning and managing complex evaluations and multi-sectoral/multi-country projects in the private, public and non-profit sectors in more than 60 countries. He is a Credentialed Evaluator and a member of the Credentialing Board of the CES.
