Sobre o evento

The Evaluation Activation Sessions are the result of a joint partnership between The Global Evaluation Initiative, EvalYouth, The CLEAR Initiative, The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), IDEAS - The international Development Evaluation Association, The World Bank Independent Evaluation Group (IEG), The European Evaluation Society (EES), and a wide range of regional Universities, VOPEs, and other leading M&E agencies and actors*.

These partners started promoting career advisory sessions together since the first gLocal Evaluation Week, in 2019. Following the success of gLOCAL 2019, they created an ongoing program, where young and emerging evaluators submit questions related to their careers and receive expert's guidance, called P2p+**. This year, the partners, decided to innovate again, creating a new gLocal training program designed to ignite evaluation careers!

They have mapped the most frequently asked (FAQ) questions posed by emerging evaluators through out different initiatives and will provide systematic answers, through modular activation workshops delivered in five languages (Englis, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish). More specifically, each language group will offer two sessions of 1h30, where leading world and regional M&E experts will each have approximately five minutes to share their advice. The first session of each language will group questions related to what emerging professionals can do to get started in evaluation. The second session will describe how emerging professionals can prepare themselves to pursue a successful career in the field of M&E.
