Impact Management and Measurement (IMM) represents the reframing of M&E in the Impact Investing Industry. The practice as seen a critical part of making impactful investments, yet the onus on whose job it is to perform the functions of IMM vary. This is often brought about by the expectation that IMM is a due diligence requirement for accountability for investors. This panel explores the opportunity for IMM practice to potentially play a greater role in the sector, for uncovering how might capacity development in the sector serve sector better and how M&E body of knowledge and practice can enhance IMM practice.

Asgar Bhikoo Impact Investing Lead He is a current Board Member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association and Co-Chair of the IMM Working Group for Impact Investing South Africa. He works for E Squared Investments as the Impact Investing Lead, and has worked int he Social Investment and Philanthropy Sector for the past 11 years.
Reana Roussouw Founder of Next Generation Consulting She is a member of the working group focusing on IMM for Impact Investing South Africa and runs her own consulting and advisory business which provides IMM capacity support along to a wide range of stakeholders involvement in the Impact Investing Market.
Miskah Jakoet Partner-Genesis Analytics She is a current Board Member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association. She has served on the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs Steering Committee and has a keen interesting in the evolution and growth of the IMM landscape in South Africa.
Lebohang Letsela Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist - Tshikululu Social Investments Has worked across multiple sectors in the social investment industry. She plays an integral role in the development of IMM strategies for Tshikululu Social Investments Impact Investing clients. She is a current Board Member of SAMEA.
