In this gLOCAL event, we will explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in evaluation practices and its implications, drawing in particular on:

- UNFPA's Latest Strategy: Explore UNFPA's latest strategy for responsibly leveraging AI in evaluation. Discover how to navigate ethical considerations surrounding AI use in evaluation, and gain insights into a roadmap focusing on specific evaluation use cases.

- WFP's approach to building an Artificial Intelligence evidence mining tool: Learn about the ongoing journey of implementing a corporate AI tool, exploring the challenges and lessons learned along the way.

- Practical storytelling: Gain practical tips and insights to enhance accuracy and efficiency in key evaluation activities such as analysis, writing, and review. Through engaging storytelling, we'll showcase effective strategies to harness AI's potential in improving evaluation practices.

Rami Assaf Evaluation analyst, FAO Office of Evaluation Rami is an evaluation analyst at the office of evaluation of FAO. Co-chair of EvalYouth MENA and board member of LEBEVAL, he has been experimenting the use of AI in evaluation.
Neha Karkara Communications, knowledge management, and AI lead, UNFPA Independent Evaluation Office Neha crafts strategies and spearheads initiatives that promote the use of evaluation for decision-making and accountability. With prior experience at UNICEF, UN Women, UNDP, Save the Children, foundations, and media organizations, she has developed and rolled-out advocacy and communication strategies for advancing children, youth, and women's rights, at national, regional and global levels.
Federica Zelada Evaluation officer, WFP Federica is an Evaluation Officer at WFP Office of Evaluation. She leads initiatives, to make evaluation evidence systematically accessible and available throughout the organization, enhancing learning and decision-making, and is actively involved in the development of an AI Evidence Mining solution. Additionally, she oversees the management and development of evidence synthesis and summaries.
