About the Event

Business & Culture: A Virtual Practicum, is an innovative classroom-to-classroom, action-learning university course on international business taught across premier institutions in Egypt, Lebanon, Libya and the USA. In this session, we will share the process used to develop a rigorous monitoring, evaluation and learning plan to measure the impact of this course. We will cover our experience in co-creating the theory of change with key stakeholders, selecting indicators and developing the data collection plan with the program design team, and developing and pretesting a survey used across multiple languages and cultures to enable students to share their voice. We will share results from the first cohort of students related to empathy, cross-cultural communication, and cross-cultural collaboration. Most importantly, we will discuss our use of impact and process data to improve the subsequent rollout of the course in the following semesters.
