About the Event

This lecture will be based on the paper Impact Evaluations in Forced Displacement Contexts: A Guide for Practitioners (attached to this submission). The lecture will discuss the role of impact evaluations in the measurement of impact for projects implemented with displaced people and their hosts. Participants will learn about the challenges to rigorous evaluation in these contexts, and ways to overcome them, as well as important methodological advancements for impact evaluations more broadly which will derive from their application in these contexts. Paola Elice Impact Evaluation Specialist Paola Elice is an Impact Evaluation Specialist in the Fragility, Conflict, and Violence (FCV) unit of the World Bank, focusing on forced displacement. Previously, Paola worked in the Impact Evaluation unit (DIME). Prior to World Bank, Paola was a Research Manager at Innovations for Poverty Action.
