Enhancing evaluation use through behavioral insights

圆桌会议

About the Event

Despite the many efforts to improve the use of evaluations, bridging the gap between evidence and decision-making remains a challenge for evaluators. Yet, this is not surprising. It is a well-documented fact that people use typical heuristics “rules-of-thumb’ to make decisions.

The behavioral economics’ field has good practices that evaluation practitioners can borrow to enhance stakeholders' commitment. Building on the ENABLE approach developed by WIPO, the workshop would equip participants with knowledge and tools to integrate behavioral insights throughout an evaluation process.
