QualKit: Monitoring, evaluation and learning of gender equality and inclusion changes in development programs

技能培训班

About the Event

The “QualKit” supports organisations to monitor changes related to gender equality and inclusion in development programs. Developed by UTS-ISF and the Water for Women Fund, the QualKit has broader applicability for all development practitioners. Organisations are increasingly moving beyond counting women and girls and are investing in qualitative approaches to better understand how women and marginalised groups are affected by interventions . Yet measuring transformative changes in social norms is inherently complex , which is why qualitative data is so critical. The QualKit has adapted innovative qualitative M&E methods for travel restricted times.

The session will introduce the QualKit a qualitative toolkit for monitoring and evaluating Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) changes. The session is aimed at development practitioners and evaluators including GESI and MEL specialists who are interested in exploring and monitoring GESI changes.
