About the Event
Use of technology in M&E is a need of time. In the session, Magic Bus India Foundation team will present its experience of using technology for M&E for country level programme. In the session, the team will share the background, how the technology was used and what were the experiences. The team will also share what can be the learnings for the larger sector.

| Santosh Kumar Sharma | Director Impact | Santosh Kumar Sharma is Direct Impact for Magic Bus India Foundation. He is leading on Monitoring, Evaluations and Knowledge Management functions for the organisation. Santosh has more than 25 years of experience of designing and managing research, evaluations, M&E systems and advocacy initiatives in large scale programmes and for organisations. Santosh has managed M&E for country level programmes as well as for big donor funded programmes. His previous job was with Change Alliance (subsidiary of Christian Aid, UK). Prior to Change Alliance, he worked for organizations such as CARE India, Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), PACS, ChildFund India and Christian Aid India. He has not only led M&E and research functions at the country level, but also has supported other Asian countries while working with different organizations. Santosh has first-hand strong experience of designing and managing larger level M&E and learning systems. He has in-depth experience of conducting large scale sample surveys and complex evaluations in health, nutrition, education, water & sanitation, livelihood, skill development, gender, education sectors. Santosh has a good knowledge of using quantitative and qualitative research tools and methods. He also has strong skills in documentation and report writing. Santosh has first-hand experience of different thematic areas like Education, RCH, HIV, nutrition, water & sanitation, livelihood and poverty programmes etc. |
