Monitoring Systems with an Evaluation Vision - Meeting learning and accountability objectives: Lessons learned from 5 impact evaluations

Webinar | Online

About the Event

In this webinar ADE presents lessons learned derived from five impact evaluations on a methodological perspective. Methodological insights can be used to improve monitoring and evaluation practices.

Two main points will be discussed: (i) Building an impact-oriented Theory of Change as a backbone of the monitoring system and the evaluation approach; (ii) Improving data systems and data use to develop an evidence-based culture.

This webinar offers guidance on how to use available resources to monitor and evaluate interventions, and hence reconcile accountability and learning, as well as to plan rigorous impact evaluations. It can be relevant to any stakeholders involved in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating development cooperation programs. It can also be relevant for representatives of development agencies and donors.
