The purpose of this session is to exchange ideas to make positive use of evaluations and leverage the value of evaluative work during (and post) COVID-19. The United Nations Network for Evaluation in Eastern and Southern Africa (UNNEESA) will share examples of evaluative work undertaken by its UN member agencies in reaching vulnerable populations in Africa during COVID-19, as well as embedding adaptive learning from adding evaluations to the COVID-19 response. The session will provide space for discussion between participants and presenters.

His M&E experience focused on child labour, forced labour, social forestry, economic development, health, education, rural development, and other areas in Africa, Latin America and South-East Asia. |
| Nikki Zimmerman | Regional Evaluation Officer | Nikki has over 12 years of experience in M&E and learning, currently supporting and overseeing WFP evaluations in Eastern Africa. In the past, she has worked across a range of sectors in both humanitarian and development contexts in Africa, Middle East, Latin American and the Caribbean. |
| Carole Tronchet Pradhan | Evaluation Specialist | Carole has sixteen years of experience in M&E, counting twelve of the years with UNICEF offices in South Asia, Caribbean and Eastern and Southern Africa regions.
