About the Event
The COVID -19 pandemic wreaked havoc on all social and economic sectors in the Caribbean. Great effort has been expended by governments, regional institutions, and development partners to assess the impact of the pandemic to inform appropriate responses.
The panel explores the approaches taken by different stakeholders to assess the impact of COVID-19 on key sectors such as agriculture and food security, education, and health.
Some of the key elements to cover during the event are the methodologies that have been employed to develop the assessments, the main results from the analyses, the indicators that have been thrown off track, and the policies/strategies that could work to mitigate the fall out.
